Lee Co | I just found out today Monsanto has discontinued the original max version of glyphosate and will have a "NEW" improved "MAX" next year. of course with the new one that uses a different acid, surfactant..... the cost will go up. the new stuff is still a 5# mix so you will still use 22 oz. for a full rate but the price will go to $36.00+ . this will be about $2.00/acre increase. I would think this will make the generic market grow alot by next spring.
the only thing that needs to climb more for next year now is the price and yield of corn. | |
