The 750 Deere drill can be used very nicely to seed brome in barley. Mix 96# of barley with 10-12# of brome seed. I find that a 3 point hitch cement mixer does a great job of mixing. Now for setting the drill, brome weighs 17# per bushel so make sure to set the drill meters for 2.5-2.75 bushels per acre as the fluted rolls are VOLUME metering. Also add some seed box graphite to the mix and use a small amount of seed in the seed box at any given time. The less time the mix rides around in the drill the less time it has for the lighter grass seed to "float" to the top.
