If you get a good stand of Alfalfa, you might have a mess. It's common to seed wheat here as a cover crop with Alfalfa in the fall. The wheat and the Alfalfa can be about the same size in a wetter type year. The typical "here", central MO, is broadcasting red clover, sweet clover, or something or that nature.
