| Here in ND we can spray out CPR on July 1 if we are going to plant winter wheat, August 1 if we are planting in the spring. A July 1 burn down works much better because the grass is dormant by August 1. Wheat might work if FSA allows you to spray out the CRP now, that would give the grass more time to break down and also give another opportunity to put on another shot of RU before wheat seeding to control any escapes in the CRP. | |
