| I have the ability to put on NH3, Urea, or UAN for my corn N source and I was wondering which one is the best. I have heard even with a cold flow system your NH3 distribution on 30" banding can be off as much a 20% per row even if your per acre application rate is correct. I know that is what the exatrix system claims and fixes that problem. I didn't know if there have been studies to show any proof of this. Just wondering if any of you guys have ever had better response with one form over another on a banding situation. A 5% difference in yield on high yielding corn and you could spend alot more on one form or another if it will perform better or more consistanly. Or is N just N no matter how you get it. | |
