west central Iowa | In our feedlot we add Zinpro 40 to our TMR. I was told it is supposed to help strengthen hoofs. Also we use CTC in the feed to help and put aglime in the pens (usually around the waterer) to raise the pH and discourage bacteria. Our big gun for foot rot is Micotil and sulfametazine boluses. Not sure if any of this applies to your cows or not. Good luck. | |
