northwest tennessee | I just saw your post and I have never had a lump on a young calf but I dont use alpha 7 as they get older. I have had a lump with a vacc before and I think one thing that will cause it is trying to go subcue and not totally getting under the skin but kind of getting between layers. I will use a 1/2 inch needle and go straight in instead of at an angle and this way I dont have the problem. The lumps I have had were from Novartis vacc in mature cows. | |
