Subject: anyone using Topcon X20?

Where Lewis and Clark finished the rum
I'm looking for a better rate controller and in-field mapper. I currently use FarmWorks Sitemate, and while the moving map is cool, and very useful, the software is getting long in the tooth, and I'm not sure that their upgrade is going to meet my needs, so I'm doing some shopping.

Heard that I should look at the X20 - anyone using one and want to give me some feedback?

BTW - I looked at Insights last year, but got the impression that I could only display data logged in the Insight. Is that really true? What am I to do with the 10 years of records - weeds, yields, ferts, etc that I logged on some other machine? I find it hard to believe that there is not an easy path (like shapefiles, etc) to display this data on a modern day unit - so I must be misinformed.

It has been an interesting harvest - using SM to display fert patterns in the combine and watch yield and protein monitors while driving over same. Unfortunately, I can't create a real time yield or protein map, so I have to do that mentally - keeps me busy.
