I am wondering if I can use it in my TMR with old hay or stalks and not need another protein source. It is advertised at consuption rates of .25 to 5#. I figured depending on the hay I am feeding I can just add more or less liquid to get where I need to be, plus it should make things really palatable. I thought maybe 2# on decent hay should take care of things.
Anyone feeding Mix 30 to your cows?
