SW MN | This holstein steer is about 350 lbs now and is otherwise healthy. Do you think it will make it to 1000-1100 lbs so I can at least butcher it? Is there anything I can do? Could the Vet trim it or something? I am fairly new at feeding out steers (just second group) and a small timer so I am looking for some wisdom from someone who has seen this before. Or do I just euthanize him now and chalk it up to a painful lesson to triple check the calves before I get them. Yep, I know- I have lots to learn yet and am not the best or brightest.
