You do have to register with them, sign an affidavit and mark the carcass as under 30 months or over 30 months. The "no charge" is from their SW WI plant. I don't know if that same is true at their other plants. You may also need to pay $50 for the first one to get set up. They provide a very useful service in this area, especially in the dead of winter in the north and for those who do not own a backhoe.
