Buffalo IL
I would not recommend to ever use insultube around end posts. I have always used porcelain insulators. The only time i have had problems is if the porcelain insulator gets broken from something hitting fence to hard like the pickup that drove over 100 ft of fence Friday. I have a pasture that was done with insultube and I've had to replace them with porcelain, because they have failed.
