Southern Saskatchewan | Coming up to the bred heifer season and would like to introduce a few more numbers into the herd. What are breds going to go for in Sask? Looks like everyone was counting on selling breds because there is alot out there. I thought $1500-$1550 was what it would take but now I am having my doubts. ( Keep in mind I am talking top cut heifers or 2 y/o). Are we going to see $1350-$1450 top cuts or lower? We just packaged some one iron replacements weighing 612av and sold them for $905. Maybe we should of sent all our replacements! Just trying to get a feel for what everyone else thinks will happen. Cheers. | |
