I have an orphan calf that we raised on a bottle, but now that all the calves are out on wheat he stays off by himself. I expected him to do that for a day or two but it's been 2 weeks. I figured that his herding instinct would kick in but it hasn't-i feel like he's safer from coyotes if he's with the herd or i wouldn't be worried about it.
