I like to watch/listen to some of the Cattle USA video auctions while doing accounting work at my desk.  I did have to pay closer attention when I saw a group of 20 bred black heifers sell for $1950 per head at one of the auctions in Ericson, NE.

Lighter steer calves were going for $1.85 range.

Seemed like prices were strong for most of the groups/classes I saw.  Made me want to go see if mine were comfortable and if they needed anything.... ; )
