I know this is way late. Hope its seen. 'Most' stubborn calves can be made hungry enough to drink by giving B-12 shot or even a B-complex shot,,,really makes them hungry.

Dont give up on them. Tube them once a day if you have to.

If they are sick they wont eat. they are in acidosis state. drench them with heaping tablespoon of baking soda,,,might change there attitude big time. Have seen flat down sick calves come back to life in hours. A healthy calf will suck

if they are eating starter then not as important. Heard of feeding dry milk replacer on dry feed and see if you can get them some warm water,,,let there tummy mix it up
