| Got our paycheck for the year, and just can't believe what a difference a year makes. 90 lbs heavier than last year, and we finally hit a lick on the price this year.
This was the first calf crop out of a different bull, and they calved easy and healthy, 0 death loss, and were really stretched out nice by weaning time. This year, we also fed for the first time a high fiber creep from weaning to present, and it really agreed with them.
Kind of a boastful post, but I was really pumped when the truck left the scale. This isn't on the scale some of you work on (30 Head), but it was good for us. | |
