North Central Iowa | We have taken blood from the sows/gilts and have had negative tests for prrs pcr and elsiha. We just vaccinated for PRRS 2 weeks ago as a precaution (abortions had started one week before that) and we do weekly shots of clos. A, litter gaurd (LTC) and SIV. So far they start aborting about 45 days before they are due. Boars are all good. We bring in gilts regularly but they are ones we farrowed and raised ourselves so they never left the site. So we are just really confused right now. | |
