northwest tennessee | <p>I dont understand what you are asking on the $ EN in ratio but yes the positive $ EN is good and the bull I got has the positive $EN but the one I was bidding on before had a negative $EN. If you will look at the epds the bulls with high YW and WW epds will be negative on the $EN. If you will be more moderate on the YW and WW you will go to a positive $EN. I dont like alot of milk in a bull either. That will get you heifers that are hard keepers. On the bull that I did not buy if you will look at the hyline blood in him and the epd for being docile they are way negative. I had an older angus breeder tell me to stay away from any form of hy in blood lines as it was coming from hytower and they were known to be wild and crazy cattle. I have not forgotten that either. He was a nice bull though with good epds and acted gentle but did carry his head a little high with a bow in his neck. It made him look showy but also scared me too.</p>
