Subject: What distance to separate cattle buildings?

N IL
I've heard from 20' to 200'. If we cover the open cement lot next to the current barn, the cattle had restricted northerly air movement from the barn before, what does it matter if we cover it and just keep a 20' driveway between the two structures? Barn is quonset style with lean-tos on 3 sides. 80'w x 110' L east- west, 40' ft tall at center of quonset, and 14' high at gutters. New bldg in planning stage would be 160-200' L east-west. The contrary would be how would the south flow of air in summer affect the temps in the barn. For sure would take off all the south side barn boards, approx 6', cement wall is lower 4'. The open lots to the east would still use the barn for shelter.
