I have seen cotton grazed several times in our area. Usually hailed out cotton. My uncle rented a farm that had cotton where the weeds were so bad they couldn't harvest it. He put cows on it and they did good. Takes a little time for them to learn to eat it. I don't know if they supplemented something else with it.
