NE IA | In a parallel chute the larger animals are able to stand more at ease than when the feet are forced to be closer together than a wide animal likes. Also depending on chute some only squeeze from one side causing the animal to have to lean when squeezed, not really centered in chute. I think you would be happier with a parallel chute, I really can't think of a drawback to the parallel design. The less undesireable we make the chute experience on cattle the better they handle next time in. | |
