The rain makes for lots of grass, but it's "washy" as opposed to "hard". They can only eat so much a day. A good grazing system helps, in that the carry-over grass gives some additional dry matter in situations such as we had in 2011. Jim, where are you at in WI? I studied for a year at UW-River Falls, '85-'86.
