Thought I would post how the kids did at our county fair. My daughter was Champ American steer. he wieghed 1330. My son placed first. His steer weighed 1200....needed more weight.
The Hiefers did great. We had Grand Champ Santa Gertrudis and that little hiefer was Reserve Grand Champion over all. My son had the Champ and Res. Champ Star 5. I'm proud to say that the heifers that won were calves that my kids had raised. Very proud of them. My son was Sr. Showmanship winner in the steers.
