Aiken, South Carolina | This is probably going to sound strange but I would like to be able to transmit combine perforance data and yield mapping and monitoring information out of a combine. This is why. I am an extension specialist in with the university and for a field day i am explaining the benefits and uses of a yield monitor and mapping. I want to be able to show the data real time from the combine to a near-by tent where the farmers will be standing. I would like to do this instead of having to have everyone take a turn inside the cab to see the information. I am thinking that the best way would be to use a wireless web cam from inside the cab fixed on the yield monitor and project it on a tv or screen under the tent. I have checked into a company called Agcam which I believe is a company in ND. Has anyone had experience doing this or tried this? What were the good points and what were the problems? | |
