I wouldn't count on much protein. Some energy there though. Also some tannins, oils etc that don't do any good, and may detract from the nutritional value. Also need to be aware of any cherry species, mountain laurel, etc which might have cyanide. If the cows are hungry, sometimes they'll eat strange stuff, or sometimes, it's just being a cow!
