Where Lewis and Clark finished the rum | pulled me EZ steer out of the sprayer this year, where it was working pretty well, and dropped it into our JD 9600 combine. Works pretty well, but looses satellites a lot. I don't have any fancy bin extensions - just "stock", but started with the antenna toward the front of the cab,then moved it to about a ft in front of the cab, but still having problems.
I know I need to update firmware, so get new WAAS connection, but again it was working fine in the sprayer a week ago and didn't work that well from the get go in the combine.
I probably need to look at RF issues and make sure I've got plenty of power, but I'm open to any other suggestions.
The unit faults and resets itself or spends lots of time looking for satellites. |
