Subject: RE: Value of Livestock Trailer

NC Indiana
I was priced a used 18' steel gooseneck this summer for $2500 (still for sale). Solid, good tires, stored inside, and cleaned out between uses. Guy bought a new 24' alum., said he'll never own another steel trailer. Local backgrounder bought a 24' alum trailer off of his buyer for $750. Seen a lot of cattle though. Currently have a 20' Circle D w/ several tubes rusted through. Gave $500 for it 2 yrs ago at auction. We'd like to find a better one to use on the road. I doubt IL, WI, IA, and MN would like me trying to drive the 87 W350 on their highways.
