It's done all the time. You need to know whether your receiver outputs in standard serial format or null modem. The Case IH cable is a null modem cable, so if your receiver does NOT output in that format, you need a null modem adapter to reverse the null in the cable.
Check with your dealer for wiring help - both for the receiver and for the CB power issue.
