joel's story below reminded me of finding a bred heifer dead in a 24" portable stock tank, could'nt figure out what happened, thought we were lucky to get her out of the gene pool, a couple days later my son was out checking floats and watched one of the bulls breed a cow through one side of the tank and right out the other, the light came on. :(
