Buy some citric acid. As a cheap insurance policy. Drenching with it will turn around calculi if you catch it fast enough.
If you don't use the citric acid its still useful to clean out dishwashers,washing machines,hot water heaters and pipes- so your minimal investment won't be wasted. I use it ALL the time around the house-we have hard water that cakes up everything..

Might feed them a little hay to go with stalks till it rains(also for the reason of them not wanting to eat the corn stalks covered in lime) if you have to put them on there. Calcium(ie Lime) over 1% of the diet has been proven to cut into consumption in a mixed ration.
