We have a patz vertical mixer and we aren't happy with how long it takes to grind up a bale in it so we hire a hay grinder to grind almost everything we feed before its put in the patz to mix with distillers. Would a bale processor do what we need for the patz without spending all the money on the custom hay grinder? I would use one for bedding and feeding cows on the ground if I had one.
Bale processors are they worth it.
