SW Manitoba | Up here in western canada most of the cattle are fattened on barley. It makes a whiter fat and the cattle do really well on it. A good crop is around 100bu/acre with similar inputs as wheat. We are swathing ahead of the chopper but I am using the autosteer to skip swaths so I am laying them the same direction. I will post some pics of the pile and feed tomorrow if I get a chance
