This happens more and more these days. Usually happens more often with generic or common drugs. Several years ago it was penicillin, right now it's calcium solutions.
Not that it helps you, but the human medical establishment is having the same problems. They can't get calcium right now either. Unfortunately the FDA usually lags behind the need in allowing imported product to come in where that is even possible.
