Subject: Re: Earlage vs. High Moisture Corn

western iowa,by Denison
Can harvest 100 acres a day of earlage, day in day out, everyone complains when we go back to combining-fill wagon, dump and pack,no augers,no grain carts, everything that comes in the cornhead goes in the wagon, have less then 1/2bushel- acre corn lost!
Would not agree with Eddie, high moisture earlage will feed to 99% value of dry shell corn-figure its worth $200 a acre with todays corn price, what am I missing Eddie?Plus if hay is over $100 a ton whats wrong with the 2ton acre advantage of earlage?I'm glad no one is catching on it's value, tired of custom chopping anyway!
