Subject: Re: JD Pro Auto Swath/G2

Just a thought, I was wondering if you are turning around at the end of the field and heading into the next pass or are you stopping, then backing around and then taking off into the next pass. I do know that the GS2 has some issues with backing around unless you shut the booms off then turn them back on manually before exiting the headland. Also I believe one of the other gentelmen also mentioned correctley about checking your inline offset. For the 4720 it should be 17.4 ft and for the 4920 it should be 22 ft (distance from the Receiver to the Boom). Another problem is when you have alot of AIR in the booms (especially when spraying at lower pressures) this acts like an accumulator and can cause a delay in the boom coming on and a delay in the boom going off. To compensate you can adjust your look ahead seconds on the swath control. As dutch said, I think he runs on Manual boom charge most of the time and I think thats probably the best.
