Oklahoma
End wheel drills give up space when your up against fences so small paddocks that adds up. We have a Tye no-till drill and it works when the conditions are perfect but more often than not, if the ground is hard, it won't get it done, wheels come off the ground so chain isn't in gear. It only has a seed box, no fertilizer, but we can turn it down to plant clover seed. Just check to make sure you can turn it down enough or if you want to plant multiple species, get a small seed box. Alot of these pasture drills, have a box that just dribbles the seed out on top of the ground then the press wheels push it so broadcasting maybe a better option. We have gone to broadcasting and then pull a drag over the the field or as Ben suggested, broadcast it then stock it hard, they will work it in.
