I had to pull a handful of limping heifers out and give them an antibiotic. I would have expected hoof problems to be the last thing we would have to deal with as dry as it is but the vet said the hard dry ground is most likely causing cracking. Gave them 50 cc of bio-mycin so hope that clears up any infection and they get better.
