Subject: Re: Animals always finish so to speak

New Mexico
in the fall when the grass is cured ( more starch less protien then ).
That's how Mother Nature works if you notice all the animals. ie deer elk, bear, buffalo and yes cattle too.

In the E and Midwest where that grass is washy in the summer, it gets harder in the fall and that's your best grass to finish things for said areas.

Best supp for grass is some ddg, barley or corn ( ground ear corn ).
Best supp for the afore grains is alot of grass.

Best supposed grass fed beef is always going to have a touch of grain added. MO.
