Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I'm sending mine in for this problem today. I experienced the problem upon initial installation and saw it from time to time.
During our period of the most use, my brother simply left the unit ON for a week straight to avoid the problem. Later I installed the upgrade which was supposed to help this situation and make other improvements. I still experienced the problem although the unit has not seen much use lately.
It seems that if I cycle the power several times, the unit will finally show the LEDs "walking in" from the ends such as it would do during a normal shutdown. The next time I power up, the display will come to life.
I emailed my Trimble Rep and he suggested sending it in as it is still under warranty. I do not know what is involved with the repair. |
