West Texas | Too hot and dry here to grow them I guess. I've planted them 3 times and they just won't grow. Lot of things just didn't make it this year. Okra is barely over ankle high but it is producing some, few tomatoes, cabbage, potatoes and onions did very good. Kind of surprised me. Squash was a struggle to get up and going but is about to start producing some. No carrots, lettuce or spinach. Just could not get a stand or if it came up I could not keep birds and rabbits from eating it. Sweet corn is putting on very small ears and I haven't even looked but I'm sure it's full of ear worms as I didn't dust it near enough. | |
