By turning the tractor around and parking with the fixed axle to the receiver in the same spot just facing the other way takes out any bias of the ground not being level. Also you are not trying to calibrate for 0. Whatever the number is that pops up after the calibration is irrelevant. As long as the calibration is successful your good to go.
