E.Central MN | Well, compared to the places that got too much rain (again) and the places that are way too dry and getting drier, compared to that the places that got stuff planted look decent. It looks a little better than it did a month ago simply because its getting taller and the rows are starting to look more filled in, harder to see the gaps between plants. Is it any better than it was a month ago, probably not, especially when the rain has been so spotty and the wind has delayed applying herbicides. But at least its planted and growing and to the "experts" at the USDA thats all that matters. Its a long....long time til harvest around here. At these prices should we be complaining? | |
