| I wonder how all the guys who were selling 08 corn for $2.80 in 06 feel about that now? I have an awful hard time selling something before I have an idea what my expenses will be. The cost to put in a corn crop has sure gone up since the spring of 06. Wonder what it will cost in the spring of 08?
I've got some early wheat sales that looked good at the time, but are under the market now. I know several guys that sold 50 bu for $3.60 New Crop. That doesn't look so hot today, maybe by harvest it will be closer, who knows.
