NE Iowa | Looking for advice from my fellow Ag Talkers.
I have a small beef herd. My daughter and son show cattle. Looking at upgrading our 16ft Keifer Steel trailer that is rusting out badly.
Found a 2000 Wilson Aluminum 8x24 for a good price.
I have a 2007 3/4 Chevy 4x4 Diesel Crew Cab Long Box
My questions:
I was origionaly looking at a 7 or 7 1/2 wide Wilson Trailer - will I regret the 8ft wide due to visibility, turning, or handling?
The trailer has to older square front "Bull Nose" that will not allow a short box to pull it - will I regret the square nose?
Should I just save up for another year or two and buy a new Wilson with the tapered nose and 7 1/2 ft wide. (probably $6-7,000 more than this one) ?
