Oklahoma | Got a phone call over lunch today asking if I had ever heard of mixing grazon in a bulk blender with granular urea to be spread with a spinner spreader on pasture.
The individual that called me sat and watched them mix it. He was told they were seeing plants "turn" in 24 hours. When I asked if it was applied right before the rain, he said "no, applied on Tuesday". We did get a rain on Wed that was pretty widespread. Since I don't know where it was applied, there is the off chance they got a spotty storm Tues night but it would have been a tenth or less if they got any of that according to mesonet data.
To me this sounds way out in left field as far as coverage and effectivness, especially with no rain to make it mobile. Thought I would ask if anyone had heard of this.
