SE South Dakota | Dad got home this morning from the Easter Sunrise church service to find a cow having a calf. The calf came backwards so he had to help it. Calf was alive and the cow licked it off but would not get up. Ended up milking the colostrum from the cow and feeding with a bottle. Got about half a bottle in it but still will not stand. Fed it again just before dark so hopefully by morning it will have some more strength. Just wondering if there is anything more i can do??? Thanks | |
