ND | that is how many miles on the 4-wheelers for the first 323 calves
now we are spreading the herd out for the second flush to get them on some dry ground and out of the frikkin mud holes
got about 139 spring calvers left
gonna dump the fall calves this week and some older pairs
to much work and to many mouths
hopefully we can start seeding some sand this week
i had 2 heifers calve at 13months 11 days old...full term calves...80 pounds,,never had that happen before
we breed for fertility and easy keeping becuz of our short grazing season and harsh winters
bred at 4.5 months of age and stuck...that is friggin nuts
they are over 1000 pounds
got lots of pictures but my computer hates my camera all of a sudden now
got a couple real heifers with the feet out that i am waiting for right now
get those done, then some shut eye | |
