| bought some pairs and have had them 5 days now, the first day when we kicked them off the trailer two calves had scours right off the bat. the one has plenty of energy and is staying hydrated on its own and running around looking fine-no worries there. the other however is not doing so well, gotta get him up every time i go out in the pen, droopy ears, body temp of 103, i have been giving him 3 bolus's every 72 hrs plus electrolytes three times a day. is there anything else that i can possibly do to get him to kick the scours? they are in a dry lot and as of today its raining, but the last 7 weeks we have had no rain, the lot has not been used yet this year so there was no other scouring calves already exposing this lot this year(or last year for that matter) thanks for any responses! | |
