Already cowpies. It would seem to me if you were just going to burn it off, it would be as good to graze it.

Grass is so hard to come by that it seems down right wasteful to just burn it and destroy the nitrogen.

Most of the mineral components remain but a lot of the good stuff must go up in smoke.

Does the burnt off range land turn to drifting if rains don't fallow? Here a burnt pasture would be out of production for three years and behind for up to a generation.

Different ways in different places.
